No Wait This Time!
Robert Feduccia
Do you remember that looooong wait for the Overflow songbook? I do! I must admit I was incredibly nervous with even the thought of an Empty and Beautiful songbook. I really didn't want to put you all through the same frustration all over again. If you didn't know, it took us two years to get the Overflow songbook out. Awful! I'm really sorry that happened. Painful for you. Painful for me.
Last week when I was sitting in my office, one of our many dedicated staff people dropped off the Empty and Beautiful songbook. Seriously, it looks so good. It is a cool matte finish. Matt gives the stories behind his songs. There is nice biography about Matt. It has piano accompaniment and chord charts. It is a very good book. Oh, . . . I forgot to mention. The songs are phenomenal!
Good brother Matt, thank for the work you do. You could do so many things with your God-given talent. But you said "yes" to the Lord and you have returned those gifts to him. The Church is blessed.
Everyone: enjoy these songs! They make me yearn for heaven. (Start by listening to the title song).
