Spiritandsong.com Reveals Winner of Fifth Annual March Music Madness

PORTLAND, Ore.—Matt Maher’s “Your Grace Is Enough” took the title this week in the championship round of spiritandsong.com’s fifth annual March Music Madness contest. The annual online competition is modeled after the brackets of the NCAA college basketball tournament. Participants listen to spiritandsong.com tracks and vote on their favorite songs to determine a champion.

All participating spiritandsong.com artists began the competition on Tuesday, March 25, with at least two songs in competition. Mat t was assured of a win when his songs won each of the regions, making it an all-Maher Final Four.

Winning the North region was “Come to the Water,” Matt’s new take on Fr. John Foley’s classic song that can be found on the album Overflow. Taking the West was “Adoration,” a beautiful worship song on spiritandsong.com’s new youth resource, Never Too Young.

Coming through the South region was “Just Like You,” a popular song that appears on several spiritandsong.com collections, including Choose Christ and Spirit & Song 2. The East region and eventual overall champion was “Your Grace Is Enough,” which can be found on the new compilation CD, Spirit & Song 2: By Request.

It’s a big week for Maher, as his latest CD was also released today, April 8. The new album is titled Empty & Beautiful and is packed full of tracks that showcase Mat t’s tremendous talent.
