Julie Hoy is a native of the Pacific Northwest. She has been playing guitar, singing and writing songs most of her life. She has more than 25 years combined experience writing, recording and performing original music for a variety of organizations and occasions.

Eleven years ago Julie and her husband moved to Salem, Oregon, and started a family. As a new mother and father, she and her husband focused on their children. She resigned herself to the fact that her career in music had ended, but she soon began to feel God calling her back. Things were different, however. Priorities had changed and so had the music. As it turned out, God was in no way finished with her. Songs began to flow — songs of faith and inspiration.

Julie has produced five original Christian music collections and has just released a new Christmas album. She shares her music in a variety of settings including concerts and retreats. The way that the Lord works through her is amazing. Many lives, young, old and in between, have been touched and changed by God through her ministry. Her concerts provide the opportunity to reflect and renew. Julie shares her songs — and the inspirations behind them — with great humility and a sense of humor. Audiences can't help but be moved.

Julie is an active member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Salem, Oregon. However, her music ministry knows no denominational bounds.
