Lyrics

With the change in your pocket

you could change the world.

With the change in your pocket

you could change the world.

There are millions dying down in Africa

from a disease that we want no part of.

Sweet little babies with no ma and pa.

So, we must help these babies

to grow straight and tall,

and we say, "It is my intent to heed that call.

I'll address it the minute that I'm back from the mall."

Well, a buck-and-a-quarter buys a cuppa joe,

and I'm sure I'd enjoy it, but in Ecuador,

that same buck-and-a-quarter feeds a family of four.

Nobody here deserves this fate.

Nobody here can afford to wait.

'Cause if we can't be loving,

how can we be saved?

Some women are dying as they're giving birth.

Some throats are so parched they cannot speak a word.

Can it be there're still some of us who haven't heard?
