On Saturday, June 19, 2010, St. Cecilia Church of Hastings, NE, and Valerian, Inc. will host a Church Liturgy and Music Workshop featuring Steve Angrisano. We will tap Steve’s expertise in topics such as music liturgy preparation, the art of bringing new music to parishes, and making music complementary to liturgical celebrations.
Open to all church musicians, the event will be held in Hastings at the Quality Inn Hotel and Convention Center, 2205 Osborne Dr. East, with registration beginning at 12:30 pm. The event starts at 1:00 pm and ends at 4:00 pm. Following the workshop, attendees will be invited to Mass at 5:00 pm for the 12th Sunday in Ordinary Time at St. Cecilia Church, 301 W. 7th St., in Hastings.
