Refrain All people, clap your hands, shout joy to the Lord. All people, clap your hands, shout joy to the Lord. 1. All peoples, clap your hands, shout your joy to God. For God Most High is awesome, great king of all the earth. 2. People, put your hands together, clap, dance. Raise your voices high, for the Lord is King of ev’rything, the ruler over sea and sky. Clap your hands. 3. God ascends the mountain to cheers and trumpet blasts. Sing out your praise to God, to the king, sing out your praise. 4. I was once unaware that my life could be spared. Grace I couldn’t afford, my path of fire and sword. But now I believe, I am no longer deceived, my spirit’s been received, and I am walking with the Lord. 5. For God rules the earth; sing praise with all your skill. God rules over nations, high on the sacred throne.
