I sang this amazing song first at Faith 2001, a Christain camp held in Peterborough. It has such amazing and powerful lyrics. Whenever I hear it I remember every trouble has been laid before the Lord and turned into joy.

The song is saying that instead of having sorrow or sickness or other things that bring you down, take these problems to the Lord, who will give you joy. For that to happen you have accept and believe that he will do it for you.
Verse I'm trading my sorrows, I'm trading my shame; I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. I'm trading my sickness, I'm trading my pain; I'm laying them down for the joy of the Lord. Refrain We say yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, Lord, yes, yes, Lord. Amen. Bridge I am pressed but not crushed, persecuted, not abandoned, struck down but not destroyed. I am blessed beyond the curse, for His promise will endure, that His joy is gonna be my strength. Though the sorrow may last for the night, his joy comes with the morning. (to Verse)
