Lyrics

I'm ready to walk with You.
I'm ready to talk with You.
Down the Hallways of Always I'm ready to be by Your side.
I'm prayin' that You'll be my guide
down the Hallways of Always always, always, always.

Always bathed in Your light.
Always blessed by Your might.
Always safe in Your sight always,
(always), always, (always).

I'm ready to try 'n' keep step.
I'm ready to lose my breath.
Down the Hallways of Always just think what a leap I'll have made.
To be in the grand parade
down the Hallways of Always always, always, always.

I've said ev'ry prayer I can say.
Hopin' I'm closer each day to the Hallways of Always.
Done everything I could do,
but now it's all up to You 'f I see the Hallways of Always.

Always at Your command.
Always with You I'll stand.
Always part of Your band always,
(always), always, (always).

For every soul who has lived,
the greatest reward You can give is the Hallways of Always.
Ready to run thru the fire
knowing I'll never tire in the Hallways of Always

Always walk with no fear.
Always run to keep near.
Always the angels will cheer, always,
(always), always, (always).

I'm ready to walk with You,
I'm ready to talk with You, down the Hallways of Always.
I'm ready to be by Your side,
I'm prayin' that You'll be my guide
down the Hallways of Always.

We made a video of this one while we were in Ireland, and I think it’s up on our website. This was a term I had seen in print somewhere. I'm always looking for new euphemisms for heaven and I really enjoyed this one. Jerry Marotta did a great job producing it and keeping it gentle. Buddy Connolly’s accordion is FAB as always!

Eagerness to get to heaven is tricky. We don’t wanna appear to be in TOO much of a hurry! Anyway, a fairly simple bit of business, hope you dig!!!
