In his debut album, he offers a musical kind of encouragement, inspired by St. Paul's words to Timothy: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." Featuring 11 original, pop-rock tracks, Fight the Fight established Chris as a major player in contemporary Christian music.

Among many others, the diocese of Phoenix took particular notice of this release, selecting "Come Home" as theme song for their Year of the Father celebrations. Chris later produced a video for the song that was used in a national program encouraging wounded ex-Catholics to return to the church. Other highlights include "New Jerusalem," "Faith of a Child" and "Was That You, Lord?," a touching song reminding us that God sometimes comes to us in disguise. Featuring Matt Maher on keyboards, Fight the Fight is great listening that gives strength in the face of life's challenges.
