Living Transparently and Authentically
Hi, all! Robert Feduccia here! I'm the general manager for spiritandsong.com. I have a unique and special position as someone in the Christian music business. But I really don't like to say that, to be honest. To say that I'm in the "Christian music business" makes it sound like that worship is a commodity. It is not a commodity. It is a gift!
There is a real tension between providing a service to the Church and making a living. I never want the business aspect to overshadow service to the Church. I figure the best thing to do is to live transparently and authentically.
I hope my blogs do that. I will lay out my thoughts to you, the visitors, customers, and worshippers who look to spiritandsong.com for great songs. I hope to give you an insider's view of what happens behind the scenes here in Portland and with our artists around the country. I also hope to let you know what I'm reading and hearing about the state of the music business in general, and the way it will impact how you hear and sing music. I also hope that you keep on the side of ministry :)
